Niiiice! :) Love the way it sounds dude.
I know I've seen some others that hang much lower than mine but I set mine up to hang in the same spot and from the same mounts as the factory muffler, so they don't hang any lower than the original equipment. I think the angle that I have the camera a makes it look lower.
why dont you guys put the muffler under the car and just chrome tips out the back the huge fart cans look retarted. i have an 03 cavalier with a glass pack under the car and two four inch chrome tips that fit in the bumper. not hang five inches under the bumper thats dumb.
Dude i got a 99 cavalier and i got pulled over and the cop was trying to tell me my muffler was not street legal but i still have'nt put the silencer in they will get over it.
Glad I gave you a laugh and made your day more enjoyable.
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha pathetic
nice engine sound lolz
Chevy used some pop rivets to hold the sheet metal together, I put some stronger sheet metal screws in it to hold it to the under side of the car better. Just be sure not to put a hole in the gas tank.
This video is of my dual exhaust. Do you want to see under the car?
How did you fix that heat shroud? Because I also have that rattle noise since I finished my exhaust. Thanks a lot.
I have an 03 cav, and I also have my exhaust finished from engine and back. I have a bbp header, magnaflow cat/conv, and an ebay single catback. I want to get a dual exhaust too. I see your muffler in this video was loud even with the silencer. So I wonder how loud it is with a dual exhaust. It makes me scared to get it, because I've been pulled over for the volume of my exhaust, and that was before it was finished. If you can, post a video of the dual exhaust please.
"Badgers"??! We don't need no stinking badgers!!
I don't know how you know what a dead badger sounds like but that is pretty funny.
sounds like a dead badger is caught in the engine HAHAHAHAHHAHH nice cav lol
i got a question. does the cavalier z24 cum standard wit keyless entry and power windows?
coz i jus bought one n it dont hav power windows or remote keyless entry
Yep, I noticed that too. A couple of weeks after this video I found that I had a heat shroud bumping against it and that was making the rattle noise. I fixed it and am also going to add an expansion chamber to reduce the volume some too.
yikes, sounds a little rattly and tinny but it is obvious that you're trying to quiet it down, hence the silencer, because after opening up the exhaust system it could get pretty loud.
yeah i would never take any of my cars to a shop
Check out my carDomain site listed in the About This Video section at the top right. I have some more pictures there and a bit of detail on how I made some of the changes to the car. Unlike some, when I say I did something to my car it really means I did it, not that I took it to a shop and paid someone to do it... that's a poser.
well you just looked like the kinda person who rices out these cars its bugs me so much.
send me some pics of your car so i can see it
I'm not trying for a ricer look but the Japanese thought they looked rice enough to make the Cavalier in Japan. Toyota produced it for a while... look it up if you don't believe it. Like I said, I'm not trying for rice but more of an America muscle car type of look... maybe like a shrunken Camaro.
its still a cavalier which is a poser ricer
In my case I built this system for speed and loud was actually an unwanted side affect. As you can see I made modifications to help it be more quiet. I also have some more changes in store to lower the noise but keep the exhaust flow up.
that wasnt a complement come on having a loud exhaust on a cavalier of all cars is poser
Thank you! |
