While it may be a "copy" on the outsde, Chevy has always put their orininality under the hood. While the new Mustang GT Coup comes standard with a 300HP V8, the new Camaro Sport Coup will come standard with a 400HP V8. Usually, Chevrolet takes what Ford does, and makes it even better. Thats why they waited. Though, its not really going to be much of an aniversary for the Camaro, since '07 would have been 6th Gen. Or is it 5th?

I think this car looks beautiful. However, although I love Chevy, I understand those of you who are upset at how un-original GM is, and how original Ford is. It's true. And, yes, this is a copy of the Mustang. A good copy, though. Also note that beack in 1967, the exact same thing happened: the Mustang, now out for 3 years, was so sucessful that Chevy created the Camaro to compete with it. Funny how history repeats itself.

i can't stand gm, there just a bunch of posers, the only reason they are coming out with the f'ing car is because they see that the ford mustang is having total success. same with the new dodge challenger. everything ford did, they are doing too. ford redisigned the 05 mustang and gave it retro styleing and now both are copying the idea. at least ford is actualy original and giving their muscle a glass panoramic roof. if they want to bring back a legend, bring back the ev1.

my father used to own a bmw for 18 years and based on my experience i wouldn't buy one either. I really like tha looks of american muscle cars but i think that japanese have less problems and costs such as petrol consumption.
