The GT500 is like 12.4

It may perform, but my comment was based on its awful looks. I would not buy an Impreza / wrx / sti based on the design abortion Subaru has created. In Leesburg, Virginia (the seat for the wealthiest county in the United States) there sits a blue STI. It has been on outside display for 6 months. It sits and sits and sits. The dealer put a tent over it recently. It's clear the new design isn't selling. It's a shame.

no....GT500KR can pull of an 11.9 but then again your paying insane money for little performance improvement. just different cars overall. no comparsion

WTF do you know about the STI!? I've owned both an 06 and an 08 and I can safely say that the 08 is a much faster, more driveable automobile than the 06. If the 08 STI is a pig, what does that make the Saab 92x? Yeah, you got it, A F***IN' SNAIL!

Looks aside, the STi is still an impressive car. The numbers don't lie. If they had to build it in the form of a hatchback to compete in rally so be it. I hope it beats those omelet eating surrender monkey Frenchmen. Pfft, the French, always there when they need us.

um...they went to the hatch look so they can compete in rally. and it does a 12.9 in the 1/4..and it isnt made to be a drag machine. isnt 12.9 the same as the gt500?

Still goes to prove my point that tv and magazine personnel can't drive. The Shelby only does a 5.2 0-60. My 04 Gt with 260hp does 5.0 0-60 stock.

The new Subaru is a pig. Plain and simple - Subaru ruined this franchise. It's over - period. As an old guy of 37, I had hoped to pick up a new gen this year, but was VERY disappointed when I saw this practical joke appear during the car show season. I'd love to find a low mileage 92x Aero or a nearly new 07 WRX. I certainly will not be looking into this 08 abomination.

The old Subaru Impreza really looked the buisness,but now it just looks like a Seat Ibiza or any other cheap hatchback,they ruined it.
