my own a caprice with a cam and dyno tune 365 rwhp no headers no air system just can and tune and i have raced a xkr to easy SRT8 is diffently stronger

I agree 100%, this is not an XKR model as it has no bonnet louvres. This is definately a Jaguar XK with 300bhp. I'm quite impressed that the standard XK can put up such a good race against the 425bhp Chrysler: )

Hey relax man! I just thought that the performance differential looked a bit strange. I can see its in the dark so the louvers would be hard to see. I know that the other cars are modified but there arent any details so it would be tough to gauge performance. I'm not trying to argue with you or anything, I wans't there so I take your word for specs on the cars. I just thought that the result looked a bit odd. Seroiusly dude, no need to take offence!

do u know a stadered XK8 jaguar how slow it is :P i raced a standered one once with a bmw 645ci and i kicked it ass around 300 mtrs in less than 1klm so do u compare an SRT8 425hp's and modifieded with BMW 645 ? and what kind louvers u want to see in this darkness :P

Hmmm.... from this angle it looks like a standard 300bhp XK 4.2. The XKR has louvers on the hood embossed with the word 'supercharged'. I can't see them on this car. Also the XKR has 420bhp, about the same as the SRT8, but weighs around 200Kg less, so if it was an XKR is should have beaten the Chrysler and should have easily beaten the Lumina. My conclusion, this was not an XKR but a regular XK. Sweet video all the same though.

do u think so :p i was behind them and am 100% sure it was a R but the jaguar didnt had a good jump it staid in it place cause it was drifting like burn out start .. aNd the SRT8 is modefieded as well

It's a standard Jaguar XK with 300Bhp, that's why the Chrysler beats it!!! The supercharged XKR would blow the others into the weeds...
