this shit about the s/c is stupid.. look at the ZR1 vette.. chevy is realizing that to make power now a days you need forced induction to compete and ford realized that back in 03, sure chevy could have slapped better heads/cam and made 390hp on the LS1 too but s/c simply make more low end hp and especially low end tq over a n/a engine. and as camaro fans have found out, an 03-04 cobra with a pulley and tune (all of about $500 bucks) is one mean LS stomping machine

03 mustang vs. 03 zo6 read motortrend both pretty freakin close i think the vette was a bit quicker but not by much. its great knowing that i put upper and lower control arms, gears, tires, and took about a hundred pounds out of my car and ran 12.98 at the track with a 9 inch mt drag radial. btw i bout the stang for 3,000 bucks. oh and i had a steeda tri ax shifter too. not bragging just showing u what the fox bodys are capable of. and i appreciate cars so im not bashing any1

wow you guys are all out in space (except jake) regular mustangs with the 4.6 never ran side by side with f-body's. stock 03/04 will not beat stock c5 vettes. the ford gt and current z06 are a good match for each other. chevy transmissions suck? um the tremec t56 in my camaro is used in lots of cars, including the 03/04 cobra. and the 03/04 cobra is a supercharged 4.6. not saying that it's not nasty, because it is. but dont forget to say that it is supercharged.

First off i have a 91 gt mustang with 230,000 miles and it still stomps the hell out of camaros and trans ams.I could even slap heads and a cam on and do the same to a vette! Go ahead though buy your $30,000 car to compensate for your small penis.But just know I could buy a stang for $3000 put $2000 more in it and murder a vette. Damn that sure is a waste of money buying a vette do the math chevy guys thats $5000 on a stang think how much you could save but dont hurt yourself doin the math!

we all know chevy needs 1.1 litres more displacment just to run with a 4.6l stangs. ford guys have always had to make due with less engine, but yet we still find a way to run right by the side of f-bodys, with bigger engines, ....and a chevy transmission will take a dump way quicker than fords. and the interior of my ford is way nicer layed out than a camaro. by far. real men ride ford

First of all, mustangs are not even supposed to be compared to the Corvette, they are in two totally different price ranges, yet an 03/04 Cobra could hang with and beat a 03/04 vette. Not a Z06, but then again, that would be comparing a 35K(Cobra) car to a 80K car. Plus, a vette has what a 5.7L compared to the mustang's largest engine which is a 4.6. So what are you bragging about anyway? Better quality HA!
