anything thats ties to the rear end of that with a cable is getting pulled, and I mean anything, the force and momentum to lift 450+ tons in the air has to be Fuc**in incredible, stopping it is more of a problem than getting it to move.

Incredible how heavy and slow it looks then all the sudden it lifts into the air!! I have flown to Europe but yet have not been lucky enough to be on one of these monsters...

The feeling you get when a full loaded 747 takes off just a few meters above youre head is just incredible =) I love to see this giant plan taking off ,the power,the beauty aahh just great =) By the way this take off is not dramatic.. the pilots know what they are doing.. for people who have no clue what is possible it may be dramatic.

he was on a normal runway the camera is just at the height of a person on the end so it seems like a short runway

Man when I was at McGuire AFB for CAP Encampment the 747's C-17's and C-5's were as low as anything! but you go to this Field and there really low so low you can see faces in the windows!
