Your right it is stock, but don't u think that they use the term loosely, I mean I can't look at a W12 engine 8 liters with quad turbos and ten radiators 1000 hp, and say stock with a straight face. Besides it was beaten by five other cars on the Top Gear track.

Sir, you are correct, the buggati veyron hits 253, in this subject (video), the benchmark is a quarter mile (1,320 feet) which the buggati covers in 9.0 seconds at a speed of 143.6 mph

and may I add the supras areen't stock they are built up they put engines and forced injuctuion and brakes and all that on it but stock supras fail although they are one of my fav's

may I add this car is a 9.3 litre, the supras in the states are only around 3.5 litre and are lighting up the quarter mile in the mid 7's

i think what they mean is that it is the fastest accelerating car in the world. it can accelerate from 0 to 60 in about 1 second. its top speed definitely does not beat other cars though.
