i did a 12.72 in ver 3 sti wag with stock turbo ecu and intercooler just real nice extractors nd system and 18ish psi

where all i see is his shift light coming on at the launch? and maybe cold start or it just being cold outside and its just condensation, like when you breath hot air on a cold day, it looks like smoke

Your so ignorant. If you knew anything about cars you'd know the that ECU or computer controls everything in the engine and makes it operate for durability, power, fuel economy, or whatever your going for. Tuning a turbo car to make the best of what is given takes time and skill. Grow up

BTW this car isnt the fastest stock turbo WRX anymore. It hasnt been for a long time. The current record is 12.4

Unless you could all the hondas running 10s ALL MOTOR (for your dumb ass that means no turbo, no supercharger, no nitrous) I love dipshits that have never been to a drag strip. 4cyls have been playing with the big boys for 7-8 years now (I mean in a big way, there have always been some fast 4's now there are a lot)

what this guys means is he still has the stock wrx turbo in his scooby but upgraded other parts and remapped it. as my wrx has stock turbo still in it but its putting out 310+bhp and 300+ ft/lb torque. it has a full decat turbo back exhaust, up pipe, turbo inlet hose, maf hose, air filter, hks ssqv bov, sti intercooler, intercooler hose kit, ecutek remap, walbro fuel pump.

its all in the tuning ;)

That car was stock engine, stock turbo but with a header and an exhaust cutout. It was also tuned by Junior so thats how a 227hp car can get that quick in the Quarter.

How can they vary this much? I thought stock WRX's in US had 227 bhp
