Um, stock, the newer ones are better, worth more, waay better interior, and feel better on the road. I'd never trade my new GTO for any OLD one, as sweet as the old ones may be.

old gto's are better

I would take a 69 GTO Judge over that any day!!!

If ford chose to go N/A i'd have no doubt in the least that it would still pass up anything gm can offer hp wise. Hell look at the 2000 cobra R with its n/a 5.4 pushing 390 hp and it was underrated from the factory. Or the 6.0L cobra concept n/a engine pushing 610hp. As for handing on the track check out the FR500c. Basically a mustang gt with fords handling package dominating the Grand-Am cup.

nah...dodge is shit!!!

ok then, thats what u think, dodges are great and last pretty well, u just don't know what ur talking about...

yea they should have added a little more power to it. they were just lazy and took the 6.1 outa the 300c's and charger's. and without that supercharger, the mustang would be nothing compared to this. remember the challenger is naturally aspirated and keeps up with a supercharged vehicle. and yea the live rear axle is definitely better off the line, but but but =] the challenger will have better handling. the mustangs owns the 1/4, but a track with a lotta turns belongs to the challenger...

wow bro you have a B E A UTIFUL GTO MAN NO SPOILER red WOW THAT THING IS ...... EVEN THO I PULL ON LS2 GTO'S WIT MY CHIPPED MKV gti i still wanna get a gto

loosing weight would be great for gas too !

dodge= shit

100#s = 1/10 second in the qtr mile

Thats true, sadly auto makers dont realize that not much money needs to be spent designing a fast car, what they really need to focus on is on the weight of the car. If you would be able to make any one of the many "muscle cars" loose some weight including muustangs, challengers, chargers, GTO's, if they all lost 500lb, 300-400 pounds, that they will be more than a whole second faster.

Challenger might be a lil faster off the line cause it doesnt have 500 ft/lbs of torque tearing its tires off 8) I like the challenger... hell i think its one of the best lookin cars out there but performance wise and price range i expected more. Sure the gt500 is supercharged but its also a smaller engine and a low compression engine as well. Plus i think for the mustang ppl dont want irs they want a live rear axle. Better hook up.

u r right, my bad. i have driven both cars, and for a more realistic daily driver, the challenger is better. the shelby is fast, but for the track, its kinda nose heavy and doesn't have as good of a suspension as the challenger. the challenger is 0-60 in 4.7 and the shelby is 4.3. u also should take into mind that the challenger has no supercharger, the shelby does, and the challenger keeps with it, its actually faster off the line. to me they feel the same with jump and acceleration.

beat the gt500 in the 1/4? challenger barely pulls off low 13's while the gt500 is in the low 12's

And tha sad thing is, thats not even a Challenger... Its a GTO....

Too bad you have a very small sexual organ for a male...

i don't think they are piles of shit, i mean they do beat the new shelby cobras in quarter mile and stuff, and they are pretty sleek lookin...but i do agree that theya re bulky, but thats only because dodge tried to bring back the early generation challenger...

challengers are piles of shit. big heavy boats

They're not that ugly, they're pretty clean. I like this one better than a camaro though. Cobras are the nicest of all the muscle cars by far. The new challenger is right behind it.

Yea, not on youtube though
