damn that racing trans help out alot, my ej20stock trans would of shatter to millions of peices
haha maybe they're in the vid right xD
i want that gtp, anyone knows the mods??
oOoh sorry drummydum... i forgot you know it all.
Highway races have so little to do with AWD
Proof that AWD owns all.
Awesome races.. never thought the GTP could run like that- most are a joke around here. Props to the GTP, and especially to the WRX (brake boosting FTW), and sorry, but the SRT shouldn't have even tried with no more mods than that.
yea thats over there in the states. there is no such thing as an inspection sticker in australia. a vehicle must pass an emissions test in australia in order for it to be roadworthy and therefore registered. it varies from state to state.
GTPS RULE!!!
Inspection stickers are not hard to come by here at all.
yeah probably in the states.
ok no worries. when my brother runs an 11 sec pass with his VF30, ill post the video and you will see how stupid u are
whoevers wrx that is, its a fucking beast...props.
are you a retard...because i know plenty of people that would just print me a legit sticker and put another car on the dyno..and PLUS if you have obd2 and have no check engine light you only have to go through the safety part of inspection.
UM... traction and power to weight ratio.... gearing. That's about it. Whats the big secret? The VF series turbo's aren't bad but they are NOT for drag rtacing. WAY too small.
May be a difference in dyno's. That is impossible by my dyno's standards. That exhaust housing on a VF22 simply can NOT move that much air. It is horribly small. Please, show me this car... until then, impossible. The stock turbo on a EVO VIII is bigger and can flow more air than a VF22. GT35 .63 2.5l STi's wont make 467awhp. Your smoking crack.!!!
yes i was talking about ur car. and if u want to know something about getting times out of a vf powered rex, maybe u should visit australia or even japan. instead of focusing solely on power, japs and aussies look at other parts of the car to make it faster. u dont need 500hp to have a good et.
Ive seen a rex on a chassis dyno put out 467.4hp running a VF22 setup here in australia. U americans must not know much about tuning.
If you're talking about the car in this video, then yes I agree. Its my car. If your talking about a VF powered WRX... your smoking crack.
A VF22 will make NO where nEAr 450hp. Not even at the crank. Its a 350awhp max turbo. It comes stock on a JDM WRX for christs sake. its is NOT a big turbo, lol. It is significantl;y smaller than a tdo6 18g and way smaller than a 20g. Nevermind a turbo like the SZ55 or FP Red.
dont try make them believe u they just come up with more stupid things to say. and how do they think they could get a car running on methanol to pass emissions?
dude learn to spell.
what really has to be looked at is not what the car is, but how it is setup. things like weight, tuning, suspension (more grip when it isnt hard) and even chassis construction. this all comes together to make the performance of a car. whether it be muscle or high tech.
the rex should run well into the low 11s and maybe high 10s
347 at all fours would be a hefty power figure at two, especially in a rex. VF22's are rated to 450hp which isnt too bad. the main focus with the VF series was get an all round performance turbo and hence why they arent too big to help with a smaller boost threshold. my brother runs a VF30 which is smaller than the VF22 but is still good for response and top end due to its compact design, yet high flow rating. nice rex btw. gotta love the draggin wagons. |
