F1 cars focus on high Horsepower due to the lightweight of the vehicles; it requires VERY little torque to get the vehicle's weight into motion. As of result, they rely on high levels of Horsepower to provide acceleration and overall top speed. Soo... the family/sports car requires A LOT more torque. The more the better.

Oh yeah cause torque matters a lot. It does, no, your right. It does. Off the line. Everywhere else torque doesnt mean shit, why do you think F1 cars focus on high-HP? Cause thats what MATTERS in the real world. Mustang is SHIT and it has shitty torque numbers AND shitty HP numbers.

i agree the only thing they need to do is keep the original tail lights and the car will look twice as good.

Ok buddy... you realize the Mustang GT's engine makes 70 more horsepower than me, in a car weighing nearly 500 pounds more, and only makes those 70 more HP than me over about a 600 RPM band. My car has whast called a linear torque/HP graph meaning once that mustang shifts and starts making way less HP, im gonna pass him, then all the HP in the world wont help him. Maybe they see the M and let off the throttle to not be embaressed, asshat. Mustangs arent even designed to make power.

Your racing V6 then idiot. An M5 can't even beat GT500. Read the reviews dude an M5 is a closer competitor. A GT would beat you by a full car length or two hands down. And if you think your winning its more like they see "M3" and choose to save the gas for a real race.
