GTP's come stock with only 6 lbs of NON intercooled boost. With a SHITTY exhaust system on top of that. Slap an intercooler plus supporting mods on there and you are DEEP into the 12's.

A GTP doesn't weigh 3800 lbs, they average about 3400, but that's still alot heavier than a neon.

What you guys don't understand the WHP ratio from a Manual to a Automatic is different. a 330FWHP GTP CAN beat a 430RWHP Manual GTO. SRT-4's are quick no doubt, but a correctly modded and tuned GTP can beat up on SRT-4's all day, regardless of what you say the fight can go both ways. I have seen some pretty nasty SRT-4's, but what does it take to pull a 2,800lb car compared to a 3,800lb car?!

2001 gtp daytona ? they only made them in 1998 and 2000. i have a 1998 (medium gulf blue) and the 2000 was galaxy silver. hmm. dont even know the year of your car ? ?? sucks... and if your car was all stock ? ? your not beating a cobra. you'd have to be runnin a hell of alota mods to even hang with one. and ur 05 gtp too ? you should like ur talkin outa ur ass no offense :]

that gtp has alot of mods, or the srt-4 driver is the worst driver i've ever seen. the srt-4 is over 1 second faster in the 1/4

well it depends on the racer too, cuz if u have a civic nd u race a 80 year old that has a ferrari ull smoke him, nd da well me i used 2 roll in a mach '67 it was a pretty fast car...ma second car was a Stang GT nd i used 2 beat GP but not all of em,it wasn't that fast,after i got a 2001 GTP Daytona and smoke every stang around even sum Cobras but im not sre if they really raced but i beat em up, and finally ma GTP 05 isn't da fastst neither da prettist but well is one of the best in ma school

I agree, especially since I am a former W-body owner. But 3800s are the fucking coolest engines ever! I have a N/A 3800. They got decent get up and go.
