d max. hummers have gas engine in them.

brand new duramax vs hummer what would win

looks like he has stock continential tires on that F-350 n you can see hummers got major tire ratio, pluse more weight and can garentee that hummer is Set ALL low gears, dont mean jack that its a 4cyl. if you take a 4cyl and focus it all on low end its gunna pull like a motherfucker, but it wont go over 55mph. streight 6 was the best disigne for weight/power-pull ratio but yea hummer has the advantage, Fords got leading top end outa deramax and cummins, but Cummins RULES the bottom end.

tell your mom to stop letting you smoke crack and using her car to get around the ghetto you ass ok look look the tire spins its not off the ground you fucking retard go look up a burnout do you fucking see how that spins apparently it has enough traction to burn the rubber if it spins it still has traction you are one STUPID mother fucker i mean i blame all the crack you smoked or your dad for hitting when you was little you need therapy

don't fuck with the hummer.

estupidossssssssssssssssssssss ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss ssssssssssssssssssss

apparently you still live with mommy and are a drop out if a tire has traction it will NOT spin ifit spins it is because it lost traction pull your head off of the bong quit mastubating to mommys victoria secrets catalog,go change your diaper and go back to school I recomend you start in 3rd grade it sounds like your level

Oh god... you proved that the Hummer gets more traction... Hook a 25000 lb goose-neck to them booth and see what they wind out at... there is a test. HAHAHAHA

I would like to see that again with the tow strap straight, rather than lifting the rear of the 250 and sucking the hummer rear down. Nice conversion on the Hummer though!

I agree with you guys its more than traction gears have a large part to but I have been a technician for 15 yrs and I know that weight has a LOT to do with it. granted asphalt is the last place you should do this as proof from the busted drive line. ford chevy dodge they will all break something with this kind of stress

Put some respectable tires on the ford and gear it simmalarly adjust for weight and then lets see it again. The powerstroke should have roughly 300-362 HP and 365-570fp of torque. Not only is it about tires it is about how much the vehicle weighs and how its geared. You cant get traction if you have no weight. Also note that cylinders have almost nothing to do with horsepower anymone. Most large disel engines dont have more than six cylinders with the exception of marine and construction.

Comes down to more than just tires guys! From the rear end to the differential setup, these guys are asking for it by even doing this. I bet you if that truck had wider tires it would blow the diff!!!!

nice hummer

I would've guessed that...

both of them suck ass

so what your saying is it does have traction when its not moving ummmmm i dont know where YOU get YOUR info but when a tire spins it still is touching the ground thats why you see it pulling the other truck it still has traction see you actually learned something today and your very welcome

Look at the freaking tires. F250=stock tires, Hummer=OFF-ROAD tires. The footprint is WIDER. Of course your going to have better traction because all of the torque is distributed evenly through the footprint

who would have guessed that the ford would break?

well THERES your problem. hopefully your warranty covers that

Traction has a big part but your telling me if I put a geo metro with 20 inch wide tires it will pull a truck with 5 inch wide tires I dont think so put the same tires on the f250 and add some weight to the bed so it is the same as the cummins and then see what happens and all you chevy guys hummer is not built by gm they just had there detroit diesel in them that gm also did not build at the time

I dont know where you get your info from but once a tire spins it has NO traction

You people are idiots. It all comes down to traction... the hummer has wider tires, therefore, more traction.

but the fords tires are little meaning it has more rotational speed giving it more grip only if the tires have any cause ford sucks chevy is way better

all diesels are good except most of gms just stating the facts as I work for gm and they are crap look at the recall list besides do the test with a f450 and see what happens it would be a better comparison since the hummer weighs 11,800 lbs and the f250 6,300lbs and the hummer has traction control but all you chevy guys keep buying them because when they break I make a living fixing them why are gm parts cheaper because they sell more of them than everybody else

hahaha thats what happens when you put a GM against a Ford
