Well said. I was an big 80's version fan in my youth. The new series is in my eyes a very good show.

One of the other parts I hated about the two hour movie Pilot of the New Knight Rider, they had the original KITT scraped like in Knight rider 2000 it took the original Michael to assemble KITT AI into his Chevy then decided to upgrade him into maddox's Knight 4000 annoying & scraped Maddox AI.I would love to see the original KITT return with Michael bringing TKR too.I would love to see the Team Knight Rider cars interact with the new KITT & original.

Sorry but that double-fin thing on the ass looks just plain stupid.. But still glad they brought the series back.. No videos of Hasslehoff drunk? lol

Times have changed people should to, the new show is good, the old show was good, it's time for a new Kitt so get over yourselves no one cares how much you all hate the new car, it's a car get over it. If you don't like it, then don't watch it.

I enjoyed this movie and am looking forward to the series. To all those who are still stuck in the 1980's, The original was good for the time and was very popular but in 2008 they can only take forward the basic concept. KITT's classic one liners are'nt appropriate in the news series as it has a slightly darker feel to it. The new Knight Rider also has to attract 'new' fans as well as old and I felt the new pilot set things up well for the future series which is what a pilot is meant to do.

Have seen the complete movie and i must say i was suprised and enjoyed the film, i cannot wait for the series.

Kitt represented the cutting edge futuristic technology, a souped up muscle car won't impress anyone. They should've went with some that looks like a lamborghini, even better if it could fly. Seems the douches in hollywood have run out of ideas and are rehashing old crap.
