That's partially true but, The 57 series aren't. It's the ridiculously long 62 series that are treated more like limos than cars.

Sales are dismal, because they are aimed at the uber-rich, not middle class families. Maybachs are one of the few truly exclusive cars out there, and they make you pay for that exclusivity

The Maybach is a total failure; sales are dismal. Mercedes will discontinue this brand.

The only bad part about putting a Maybach on a track is the cornering, everything else is exquisite (speed, acceleration).

I don't understand why they don't put carbon ceramic brakes on these large cars. Or, do they? You'd think if they want the best of the best for Maybach, they'd be putting on ceramic brakes.

When in comes to speed the S65 will beat out the Maybach, the Maybach is still very powerful, but meant more for luxury when the S65 is very luxurious, but meant for speed.

Yeah, the RR Phantom is a great car to rive aggressively though! Have you ever been in one or driven one? I like to see people driving thier fast cars fast though. The only people around here who do it are people in M5 M6 and Mazzeratti grand sports nothing too powerful. There are the odd Gallardo and F430 drivers too but they are always old executive types who never do above 85. Kinda' lame.

i agree the 57s has the exact same engine as the s65, same horses and torque and liters etc...but the 57s is over a foot and a half longer then the s65 and a quarter of a foot wider AND 1000lbs heavier...when people have money they do crazy things. theres people taking phantoms on tracks for fun or driving veyrons like it's a go kart burning all the rubber and just acting stupid, but their mentality is if you have the money...why not be a complete retard because you can just buy another one? bah

Why drive a Maybach on a track? That is like putting a cruise ship in a jet ski race! Kida' not for that. Don't get me wrong it is a great car and has TONS of power but this is kinda' pointless!
