Good, but the trans am is the best
Perhapes they will use The 2011 TA if and when they ever do Knight Rider: The Motion Picture.
i want to married deanna russo!!!!!!
This car smokes tv. If they come out w/ one in the attack mode, I would buy it. WHEW, I think james bond's cars would have opposition.
Please. Stock Mustang GTs aren't that great, but the car in this series is good. Shelby GT500 is a great, fast car.
People just need to accept the fact that this is an entirely new series and that there is no need for KITT to be like the old KITT from the 80s.
There will always be people who say things like, "It is not as good as the original."
Hell, I've heard lots of people say that the original Batman movies were better than Dark Knight, when it's obviously not the case.
I havent watched this show yet but I will now. I own a Mustang and I never quit getting looks and compliments on it. It is pure southern muscle so welcome to a great car. I absolutely love mine which is modified the way I can afford it. Most of you people dont know anything about the Mustang. You dont know what your missing. Mods on mustangs are everywhere down here. Nothing wrong with the spoiler its part of the trend. Good luck to the show. This car will have me watching it.
Know what you're saying - Mustang's not as let's say, dynamic looking than the original Kitt. Just looks too retro to be a car that speaks tech.
Nope sorry, Mustang isn't that great of a car.
i never seen the old knight rider but the reason im watching it now is cuz the mustang.
come on you gotta love the mustangs .
one of my good frends tommy would be all over that
damn that's too bad, they should've used a zr1 vette.
I cant believe they turned down using the 2011 Trans AM that was build specialy for the Night Rider serios... Yes now the 2011 Trans AM is going with Smokey and the Bandit theme for there concept car, but you can see other colors..... The 2011 Trams AM was turned down because its not a car on the market right now and Ford more to have the Mustang as the new KITT then anyother car company has payed to put there car in the a show/movie...Yes KITT look good but Trams AM would have been much better.
i like the old one better
Nothing can top the original.
The Knight 4000 from KR 2000 was way cooler than this! BTW, how do you upgrade to the 3000 when KR 2000 had the Knight 4000 in it? No wonder American students are getting beaten in math and everything else! I'm not saying Kitt has to be a Trans Am, cause the Knight 4000 (the Z-2000 concept car) was way cooler than the Mustang! Better lines, sleeker body style. Cooler all the way!
you got to admit it, this Mustang is cool!
naaaaaaaaaa
el auto fantastico es chevrolet
no ford
ps. Grown men in their 30's or over shouldn't be so concerned and hateful about Tv show remade for a new generation of KIDS. It's so pathetic. And you feel the need to defend these sad & lonely people. Hmmm. Click away...
I did not call anyone "losers" or "retarded" for giving their opinions, where is that? You need to re-read the previous post. My E-Rep score lol.The -5 proves my point perfectly. The fools didn't see the irony of it all.You may need to print this and show it to someone who understands "Irony" to know where you went wrong.
If fans of the original Knight Rider series such as myself disapprove of the Ford Mustang as the vehicle of choice for the new KITT, we have every right to do so.
Simply because someone chooses to express their disapproval of the new KITT does not make them either "retarded" or a "loser."
In addition, your current score for your comment is at -5, so who's the retarded loser here? It appears that you are, sir.
The 2010 Chevy Camaro should of been the base model for KITT, a Trans AM version would of been kick butt, considering the Camaro already has the area for the light to flash back and forth on the front of the hood. Go to chevy's website and you will see what I mean.
A 2000 Trans Am would definitely be a better choice for KITT, because the 1993-2002 Trans Ams are the closest in design to the original KITT, that are still fairly recent.
Not only that, I routinely see them for sale in used car magazines. I even have a neighbor who owns a 2001 Trans Am. It's a very nice car, to say the least.
You are correct in saying that only time will tell if this new Knight Rider series will be any good or not. We'll see.
No argument from me on that. The original KITT will always be my Favorite.
Personally, my choice would have been a 2000 Trans Am.
I will agree that This new KITT is a bit over done but maybe that will change as the series progresses. Only time will tell.
I just hope the show does'nt become a joke like so many remade classics (I can't believe I'm referring to Knight Rider as a classic. It does'nt seem that long ago!)
I will agree with you that the cars used in the Knight Rider 2000 and Knight Rider 2010 movies were complete and total abominations.
That being said, while I do believe that the current Mustang does have a nice retro look to it (a la the '67-'68 Mustangs), I also believe that this car is the wrong choice for KITT.
This new KITT just looks way too overbuilt to me, and that's why I prefer the original KITT, because it was both sleek and futuristic-looking. This new KITT looks boxy and overdone.
I have been a huge fan of Knight Rider just as long as you have. And I also prefer the 82 Trans Am. But This new KITT is not a total lost. It still looks better than the Knight Four Thousand from Knight Rider 2000 and WAAAAY Better than that abombanation from Knight Rider 2010. Keep an opened mind. This show might surprise you |
