i would take the mustang over the rice burner any day. first, because the mustang is cheaper. cheaper to buy brand new and cheaper to mod. it is also easier to jack up the hp and trq with a mustang because of the size of the engine. plus, the mustang sounds better!

yes, power to weight is what everyone is after..but that isn't the answer for acceleration..more power under the curve will beat a peak HP champ any time..a larger engine provides MORE POTENTIAL for power..mod for mod, the larger engine will win every time, and be more reliable. "Jap car" V6 Vs "big V8".Take the Honda(acura) NSX vs Caddy CTS-V, caddy makes more power, is faster, better in the turns AND has back seats...to top it off it gets BETTER mileage..V6 vs V8..physics says larger V8 wins!

Mitch9521 I know they don't they use raw power. Both cars are good, but if I had to choose I would go for the supra. Although I do like mucle cars as well.
