the nerd has a faster car
ok...?
try looking before you talk shit cuz when i posted that comment i couldnt see that comment of yours ;-)
I said never mind thus implying that i was wrong. So dont be a cunt, try it sometime
the description says tt mustang vs supercharged cobra. if the camera is facing the cobra (note the cobra emblem on the side) then obviously the camera car is the tt. its called reasoning, try it sometime
i know the 99 has 310 i own one.......
320 hp @ 6000 rpm,317 lbs-ft @ 4750 rpm,Might want to do research... and you might be right bout 99 if i remember correctly reading about it not producing what they advertised that because of some issue and too lazy to go look for the source where i read that.. but the 01s definitly do..
Contrary to popular belief, the Modular engine did not get its name from its design or sharing of certain parts among the engine family. Instead, the name was derived from a manufacturing plant protocol, "Modular", where the plant and its tooling could be changed out in a matter of hours to manufacture different versions of the engine family
99- 01 cobra's have 315
At least Ford saw fit to do away with pushrods and build a nice 32V V8 with pentroof combustion chamber and quad cam setup. The inner workings of the modular engine look a lot like Porsche's 928 V8 (designed back in the mid 1980s). Pushrods are old technology...GMs stuff makes HP, but they need 7.0 liters to do it. How much power would a Porsche V8 with 7.0 ltr make? They do 400 NA HP on under 4.0 liters. Those who know forced induction won't waste their time on SC...turbo wins every time.
nvm
was the camera car turbo or supercharged?
no you don't have to get under the car to change the plugs and the sport truck that gm was betting on was the ssr
lets not forget how much easier it is to actually bolt on performance to a mustang.. plugs are up top.. so maintaining isnt too hard.. last i heard lt1-ls1 you gotta get under car to get to a few plugs.. hmmmm... i didnt even know they had a sport truck... unless im missing something considering it was 6 years ago since they must of started working on that one.. other than that this video is a good definition of the difference between turbo and supercharger
LS WHAT!? lol chevy guys claiming to never have to replace shit.. then whats this about their piston skirts being soo short that after engine breaks in and gets wear it gets a ton of piston slap??? that sounds healthy.. ok maybe they gm has a couple extra horse.. on gt.. but i thought ls1 was like 320 horse? isnt that as much as 99-01 cobra ?? yeah..
well said.
exactly
what sport truck market, lol
was that cobra cutting out or was he just to high of a rpm
chevy can only race motor the ls1 can't even handle as much power as a ford mod can.
GM discontinued the f bodies to focus on the sport truck market
if camaros were worth a shit, they'd never have stopped making them....end of story. mustangs, regardless of performance, reliability, etc, have always been more popular. why fight it?
i have an 01 ss camaro and the only thing ive had to replace is a slave cylinder at 40000 miles
chevy sucks
the chevy is more powerful then the normal GT's and N/A cobra's... but they break down all the time. Maintaining them is expensive. |
