You have absolutely no idea what Australia is like mate. The roads dont get blown over with sand, hardly anyone lives out in the bush, theres sh*t loads of highways/freeways and the majority of cars in Australia are NOT 4wd. Don't say things when you have not knowledge on the subject.

Also, it makes sense to have a local format of TG. The current UK format is also a new version of the old Top Gear, it's not original either. You have to consider, Australia has way different conditions. It's a very dry country, probably many of the roads get blown over by sand and dust often. Also most people live out in the Bush, there's only like one highway in the whole country. You need to evaluate things differently in AU compared to UK (4 wheel drive is a must have in AU I think).

Uh, this is an audition tape. Also, you need to give them a chance to develop their own style. Did you guys who are trashing TG Au watch the FIRST season of TG UK? It was 3 hosts, one of whom left after the first season (replaced by James May), lots of slow camera shots. No interesting challenges and not much of an interpersonal dynamic. I do agree that the TG Au presenters need to develop their own dynamic, not do a forced copy of the UK show's personalities. Give em a chance though!!

Causes are believed to be a severe case of overacting and try hard commentators attempting to copy the motherlands proven format.
