thats not 89 or 95 is it?

i love mine and with the bolt on parts i have it works sti's all day

I tried doing that when my car was untuned with some bolt ons and I had a serious boost cut at 125mph and threw a CEL. I guess they changed that on the 06's and up. You 06 owners are so lucky. You get a torque monster 2.5 block, drive by wire, and catless uppipe.

hehe, thats the older one, not my sti

idk what ur talking about bc ive been able to hit 140 inside the city before without any problems u just need to kno location n what time o do it at either on sundays or on the late night also it depends on how fast u can get up to 140 bc i dont need much distance in my sti

not bad for a "stock subi" that shyt got some balls on it... i think i might just have to test out how fast it really is

how high of rpms can you take a stock wrx up to without ANY fear of eventualy blowing the engine?

It is a wrx with a 2.5.

hahaha the same thing happened to me too except i have an STi i just thought it was funny...i'm still laughing.....me and my big ass scooby wing but that's why i love my subaru

so is this the basic wrx or is it an sti? is it 2.0 or 2.5?

yes sir. Just waiting to remove the last few mods off the car and it will be ready to be traded in. Before then I think I will make this same 85-145 run with the "new" setup so you guys can see the difference

lol...sik man...plz tell me ur trading it in for a STI lol...

i believe the speed limiter on these are set to 155mph. I have recetly hit 145 again. Its alot quicker to get up there with the VF39 turbo that I have. I might have to video tape it one last time before the car gets traded in

thats awes0me man.... wat bout the speed limiter?lol.

you are right I actually tried it with the mirrors tucked in a few days ago and it work but then I could barely see who was behind me because of my wing.

The sideview mirror whistling noise can be eliminated by tucking the mirrors in. You'll also find the stability at those speeds improves considerably with the mirrors in. The fix includes some body work to smooth out the sideview mirror joint and keep the airflow around it cleanly diverted.

wow, way to be a douche. ever heard of the autobahn? there is traffic on that and i was going 160 in a 825csi... you'll never be able to find a stretch to go 140+ without traffic

whats the price of a cayenne or X5 compared to this car(mine)? and by offroad I mean dirt, snow, etc. Not too many cars below the 25k price that compare to the WRX

ahh, the same whistling noises I get from the sideview mirrors. the last 30mph seems to take forever as the aerodynamics start working against the car. seemed pretty steady and one-handed to boot!

Ok, how about a BMW X5? or maybe a Porsche Cayenne? Plus, how often do you go racing offroad?

yeah but try that in another car offroad

WRX's suck at speeds over 80mph.

actually this video was shot when the car was still stock.

Nice! I get the same whistling noise, though for some reason it starts at lower speeds. Did you take the speed limiter off? My '03 can only get to 130 before that kicks in.

From another rex owner once again, you shouldn't do that with traffic stupidface. You should be driving a minivan you immature little pussy boy.
