No offense taken. A V6 is always going to sound somewhat different than a V8 due to the even vs odd nature of the cylinder firing order. I'm not trying to make is sound like an 8, I'm happy with a strong 6 sound.
Current brakes are Rotorworks Drilled/Spotted rotors with Hawk HPS pads. The fronts have been upgraded to GT size rotors. Stainless braided lines on all 4 corners. And, yeah, they're very good.
No offense, but it still sounds like a v-6 beef up severly, awsome video though, what kind of brakes do you have, it seems like there awsome.
lol your v6 would prob. woop my 5.0's ass
sexy six, how many horses stuffed under your hood?
your mustangs pretty badass dude.. how much HP did the x-charger add?
Thanks. Even better now. I'm currently running a custom set of Corsa dB Blacks that replaced the regular Corsas. I need to make a new clip.
That thing sounds pretty damn good!!
I repectfully disagree with you. So do Carroll Shelby, Jack Roush and Steeda (among others) :P
I dont like it.
No mustang is a mustang if its not hittin all 8's =)
u know the 0-60 of that thing by any chance?
the new Challenger V6 is going to be a 3.5L "HO" 250 horse. The DI 3.6L in the base Camaro will make 300 horse and 30 highway mpg with the 6 speed.
prefiro minha enzo
lol those rally lights make it look like a BMW from far away
Nobody was forgetting the 5.0, just discussing the current factory engine options. The 5.0 is indeed a classic
dont forget the 5.0 man =] CLASSIC american car.
got to love that wine!!
I agree. With a V6 you can have a Mustang, use ALOT less gas AND have the fun of driving a Mustang. With a Supercharger and optional intake and exhaust, a V6 will blow a V8 away.
Dank je :)
hah, hear the wine, awesome!
You know the know the new v6 challengers and camaros weight almost 2 tons right? So what if they got 300hp, they weight a quarter of a ton more than a mustang v6.
I agree the V6's are getting to the point of having as much HP and torque as anyone reasonably needs in a street car. For cars like the Mustang though, the V8 has such a tradition and following that there's no way Ford could ever totally switch over (anyone remember Ford trying to switch the Mustang to front wheel drive in the late 80's? Mustang fans went nuts. It was like the peasants storming Frankensteins castle. Car became the Ford Probe instead.
Seen the new Challenger? 300+ HP V-6! I wonder if were seeing the future here with V-8s dropping by the wayside because of stupid high gas prices
No, I love my 4.0L, I see no need to switch to a 4.6L or 5.4L. It's more than fast enough for the street as-is, and a hoot to drive.
Congrats on not going V8 like the rest of the 4.0 mod community... or have i spoke too soon?
