They get 500bhp, but they do o-60mph in 2.88seconds which is only slightly slower than a 1000bhp, million doller Bugatti at 2.45seconds.

no they only get 200 hp thats like 800 short and whatever straight six that engine kicks ass anyway you put it. i only read about the specs once what about the 2.7 from a supra that one could do the job aswell only some more adjustments

Well of course you could make anything beat a Veyron if you pour enough money into it, and have some good engineers, although I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to compare. Obviously you can make a vehicle that handles better than a Veyron...a mini will do that any day, but to make one that handles as well as a Veyron at such high speeds with so much power is where the challenge is at. Again I'm not sure what exactly you're trying to say but I'll take a Veyron on a NASCAR track anyday

I wouldnt say specifically created or that they have had tons of money put into them. For 100k (not cheap but way less then a veyron) you could make a GTR that would beat a standard street Veyron in anything but top speed and still be decent on the street. I agree the Veyron is a nice car and would def be a much nicer car to drive but just had to point out you can make a GTR faster.

That's because the're created specifically for those kinds of races & have had tons of money put into the tuning, build, etc. Obviously the Bugatti isn't the perfect car, but put it on a track that doesn't give the cars with better handling a HUGE advantage, & the Bugatti will do well. Obviously it'll do terrible if it has hairpin after hairpin to deal with cause it won't be able to use that BHP, but it is a well designed car and does handle very well for having to deal with it's weight and BHP.

LOL what are you babbling about? The Bugatti isnt great at anything but top speed. Literally hundreds of GTR's will beat them on the qtr and alot will beat them on a circuit. Most of the good cars have good tyres and gearbox ect like you mentioned not just the 1000hp engine. Go look at JGTC where the jap cars regularly beat ferrari's and even Mclaren F1's.

I can't tell if you're serious or if you smoke crack. What do you mean drag cars aren't aerodynamic. Maybe not the piece of shit street drag cars, like a Challenger or Camaro or something, but if you look at a competitive drag racing car it is entirely designed to be aerodynamic, I dunno how you could possibly mistake the look of the drag cars for anything else. They aren't as thin as a pencil with a huge spoiler just for the looks of it.....

drag cars arnt aerodynamic but they would kill a bugatti in a straigth line. it doesnt say if if going round a track or in a straight line which makes all the difference.

It doesn't have the looks because it doesn't have the performance... A large part of the "look" of those cars is created by the aerodynamics of the car, which are a necessity when traveling 200MPH+. The car doesn't have the aerodynamics, or the performance tires, or the transmission, or any of the other critical components of the Veyron and Speed 12 that give them their incredibly high level of performance. In short... it doesn't compete with either of them all it has is a 1000BHP engine.
