what are you smoking a lx is 700lbs lighter with the stock cast iron head and block in it with a cobra swap it would for sure be 11's pry low 11's with slicks.

pretty sure if you take the difference in price of the corvette and stang... add that difference in mods to the stang... it would kick that corvettes ass... cosistantly

I'm pretty sure if you were to take what was paid for the corvette and mod out that stang some more... corvette would get owned... hard!

When the supercharged Cobra's first came out, I saw a mag article (can't remember which) where a stock Cobra ran 11.90 with just slicks. I don't know how consistant they were, but its definately possible.

A stock 03 cobra motor in a LX body can do 11? Man what are you smoking? The fastest I have ever read a stock Cobra do for that year is mid to high 12s. The LX is lighter then the GT body but you would have to cut it like swiss cheese and mod the engine to get it light enough to get into the 11s on a stock motor.

take a STOCK 03 cobra motor put it in a lx coupe and you have an 11 sec quarter mile... drop some cash on some seriouse suspension and mod what you can... that would be way WAY under 40k and your killing competition. its absolutly acheivable and i've seen it done dude. pull your head out of ass.
