k so i have the comparo here of that 240sx, z24, and a4 (1.8t). 240 is 5 hp more and is also rwd which is so worth it, trust me a4 is obviously 1.8L turbo but ya same hp...weak but the stat that really stood out to me was the user ratings for the randomly selected years of these. 240 - 9.0 A4 - 8.8 Z24 - 7.8

first of all z24 is like 16.8 or lower but over 16, si is like 16 also, also z24 redlines at like 5000-6000rpm, thats y the peak power is lower, si is like 8500 redline maybe 9000, also my brothers friend bought a celica gt4 rc, because it was cheap, and ncie, and quite decently fast, turboed at that and very rally, which i am a fan of. anyways i just looked around c&d got 98 cav z24 16.8, was a conv. so im not sure how much slower but guessing nromal liek 16.2ish, 2000 ex not si was 16.7,so ya

I love my cav, and so far it is the best bang for the buck. The closest civic compared to my car based on price versus performance is a '99 SI going for $8400, and it's got NOTHING done to it except for 17" rims, a sound system and a fart can. This brings me to my next point, why the fuck would I pay more just so I can look like every other ricer out there? People like you are the reason why I like more car even more because it is very underestimated.

Even on the highend, I've pulled on the two SI's that I've raced (6000rpm+). That is beyond driver ability, and depends on engine hp and tq. Even if he shifts faster, I gain on him. The time I raced an 02 SI, I beat him by 3 lengths and was safe enough for me to switch over to HIS lane because it was on the street (I was on oncoming traffic). We did this run 6 times with different drivers with the same results. He had a proper AEM cold air and DC exhaust. Let me tell you, vtec was not a factor.
