whatever year bumble bee from the movie was doesnt matter. that is one of the ugliest year camaro ever built. this paint scheme of yellow with black stripes started with the first gen camaro. i didnt come up with bumble bee,someone called it that my first year it was painted,2002.WAY before that movie came out. not trying to nit pick, but i thought i'd share my 2 cents.

it was a 3 year old crate engine. the napa mechanical fuel pump's diaphram blew out and gas went into the oil.so it had blow by, but other then that engine was good and strong.yea, i actually bought that spectre modular air intake, but it never was put on.

was there anything wrong with the motor or was it just the unibody? The motor looked better with a regular air cleaner on it I don't like the looks of those edel brock covers that look like screens.

maybe you should read the comments. no shit there's new panels to buy, and you have to WELD them. but, how do you weld metal to RUST! and im no welder and it would have cost way too much for me to get it done.

read the comments and you'll understand. long story short, the entire unibody was rusted out to hell and you can't tell from the video. i am no welder. the last thing i planned on doing was selling the car, but it came to that point.

if u kept it and picked at it when you could and spent some time at it u still have that car my dad has a 81 been in the garage since 2001 in the air on a rotessary holes everywhere with piece by piece put in it getting done so far no money spent but the power bill , if u live in the states or even in canada those cars are not hard 2 get parts cars everywhere , if u raparied that thing to origional imagine what it be worth

gorgeous car, alot better then the yellow. Got to love the Baldwin motion paint scheme. But change the wheels and ties. Rear tires, to short and wide. Front wheels and tires just to small all way around. Fill the wheel wells, but if you want the wide tires, mini tubs my friend. Dont stick'em out to throw rocks on the car beside you. torque Thrust and BFG radial t/a's and you'd have the nicest ride around. FordBoyw/a68SS

a smart decision? there didn't look to be much rust there to me.... if you were able to undo, allmost all of those bolts, without breaking them all, you havent seen rust xD I really don't know much, but i have torn allot of vehicals apart, not saying that i put them all back together, but that one, would have only needed a sanding, and a paint job at most.... shoulda sold it, and bought a shit car to destroy, tho i suppose it wouldent have come apart as easy as that poor car did.

AGAIN! everything from the frame, firewall, and sheet metal was RUSTED THROUGH.
